Amanda Proctor, CPC, CRC

Amanda Proctor is an accomplished healthcare operations and compliance leader with more than 15 years of experience in medical coding, risk adjustment, and clinical documentation improvement. She has led large-scale end-to-end coding operations for MA, ACA, and Medicaid plans, with deep expertise in developing compliant, high-performing teams across both onshore and offshore models.

Amanda specializes in building and optimizing programs that drive coding accuracy, mitigate audit risk, and strengthen provider documentation practices. Her leadership experience spans risk adjustment coding, RADV audit simulation and support, supplemental risk mitigation audits, and provider education strategies designed to reduce abrasion and enhance documentation quality.

Amanda has launched offshore operations, implemented advanced CAC/NLP technology solutions, and developed data-driven QA and audit frameworks while partnering with clients to design customized audit programs, educational initiatives, and compliance solutions that align with evolving CMS, HHS, and OIG guidance.

Amanda holds the following certifications: Master of Health Leadership (MHL), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Certified Documentation Expert Outpatient (CDEO), Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), and is an American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)-authorized instructor.
