SVP, Strategy, Sales & Marketing
John has 35 years of healthcare experience, including more than 16 years in Medicare Advantage and Government Programs. John’s expertise includes product development and performance, strategic planning, and sales and marketing.
John’s extensive experience starts in the health plan environment, where he spent 20 years with Horizon BCBSNJ with responsibility for Horizon’s MA, DSNP, Part D, and Medicare Supplement sales and marketing results as well as Medicare and Dental P&Ls. There John managed a multi-channel sales and marketing program, including an internal sales team, a robust broker network, and expansive call-center capabilities. This was complemented by an omni-channel direct marketing program that included direct-response, digital, community, and provider engagement and was closely integrated with the sales channels to maximize results.
Following his experience at Horizon, John held an executive leadership position at Affinity Health Plan (NY) with responsibility for Medicare and ACA P&L, strategic planning, revenue growth, and overall program performance. He then moved to Savoy Associates, a large, regional general agency, where he was responsible for revenue goals and production, creating and growing a Medicare book of business to nearly $1 million in revenue in less than three years. John served as SVP at GHG Advisors and Principal at HealthScape Advisors before joining Rebellis Group as Executive Consultant.
John graduated from Seton Hall University and completed executive education programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Babson College, the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the Center for Creative Leadership.
