John Gottwald

VP, Business Development

John has over 30 years of industry experience, including more than 15 years in Medicare Advantage, Commercial insurance and Government Programs. John’s areas of expertise include sales and marketing, quality, Lean Six Sigma and operations. John has an extensive history of providing leadership in consulting, client/account management, business development, strategic planning and operational excellence.

Prior to joining Rebellis Group, John was responsible for the development and growth at a consulting group where he helped ensure that the firm’s solutions were responsive to constantly evolving industry and regulatory trends, as well as clients’ operational excellence, auditing and compliance needs.

 John formerly served as Vice President for a national business development and client delivery leader where he led various consulting engagements that focused on compliance, identifying opportunities for health plan growth, financial performance and total cost-of-care (MLR) improvement. John has guided process improvement initiatives within sales, marketing and compliance, including a CMS sanction remediation initiative.

John holds a Master of Finance from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Michigan State University.
