Sonya Hughes, RN, BSN, CCM

Sonya has over thirty years of health care experience including twenty years in Medicare Advantage.  Sonya acted in a variety of leadership capacities at multiple MA plans before turning to consulting.  She has experience in administration of MA clinical requirements and has worked to support Organization Determination, Appeal and Grievances (ODAG) audits and the implementation of a new Institutional Special Needs Plan (ISNP) in skilled nursing facilities.  Sonya’s subject matter expertise includes the areas of utilization management and case management.
