Shirleen Chandra

Shirleen has 25 years of payor experience with an emphasis in Medicare Advantage compliance and operations. As Director, she led clinical compliance for utilization management (UM), care management (CM), pharmacy Part B, and managed service organization (MSO) delegation oversight, plus other initiatives under the Chief Medical Officer.  In addition to serving as a Compliance Officer, she has also been involved in building out Compliance Programs for health plans, developing organizational structure, and leading regulatory audits. 

Shirleen’s experience includes leading and managing the seven elements of compliance program effectiveness and implementing operational compliance departments to include rebuilding operational compliance programs. In both operational and corporate compliance roles, Shirleen identified risks and helped to interpret and operationalize state and federal regulatory requirements with business owners.  

Shirleen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration from California State University, Northridge.
