Jay Taylor

Jay is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in the healthcare ecosystem. He has served in senior leadership roles within the Medicare Advantage (MA) industry, leading groups with a focus on claims processing and configuration management that includes provider data management, benefits, contracts, and fee schedules. He has gained a wealth of knowledge working within both BPO and BPaaS organizations in a third-party administrator role for MA and commercial payers, as well as at the health plan level, leading large claims and configuration teams dedicated to MA plans.

Additionally, Jay is a professional project manager with experience in various project management methodologies, including agile, hybrid, and waterfall approaches to apply to projects with varying complexities ranging from small to intricate, and covering areas such as implementation management, process improvement, workflow management, root cause analysis, and strategic decision making. Jay has a proven track record of delivering on strategic initiatives and results within cross-functional teams and demonstrated effective leadership in different capacities, including a servant leadership approach that aims to break down barriers, improve collaboration in cross-matrix environments, and improve efficiency.  

Jay holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Florida and a MBA from Florida International University. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM II).
